Daikon Salad

【1 Preparation 3 minutes】

Peel daikon and slice into approximately 2mm thick rounds. Stack sliced daikon, slightly offsetting each layer, and cut them into strips about 2 mm thick from the edge. Transfer shredded daikon to bowl, sprinkle with two pinches of salt (a little over 1/4 teaspoon for 4 servings), mix lightly, and leave aside for about 5 minutes.

👉 Adjust the thickness and fineness of daikon according to your preference.
👉 Rub daikon with salt to make it easier for flavor to absorb.

【2 Preparation 2 minutes】

Wash mizuna and cut into 3-4cm long.

👉If your package contains arugula instead of mizuna, skip this step.

【3 Preparation 2 minutes】

Squeeze out water from daikon in step【1】. Transfer drained daikon to a bowl, and add mizuna (or arugula) cut in step 【2】.

【4 Mixing 2 minutes】

Add plum mayo dressing and a pinch of salt to bowl from Step 【3】. Mix well.

【5 Plating 1 minute】

Arrange in bowl and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
