・ Cabbage
・ Green onions
・ Garlic
・ Ginger
・ Toban Djan (spicy bean paste)
・ Sesame oil
・ Sake

👉 Using a wok instead of a frying pan allows the heat to spread quickly and results in an even more delicious dish.

👉This dish is pretty flavorful. If you prefer a lighter flavor, please use less of the combined seasoning.

【1 Preparation 5 minutes】

Tear cabbage into slightly larger than bite-sized pieces by hand, pound hard parts of cabbage with flat side of knife blade, and soak in water for about 5 minutes. Cut green onions into diagonal slices about 3-5cm long, separating root end from the leaf. Mince garlic and ginger.

👉 Tearing the cabbage by hand makes it easier for flavors to marinade.
👉 Soaking the cabbage in water beforehand gives it a crisp texture.
👉 Set aside the white part of the green onions to use separately.

【2 Preparation 5 minutes】

Cut pork into 4-5 equal pieces. Put pork in bowl, sprinkle each with a little of sake, salt, and pepper. Then add potato starch and rub until it is evenly distributed throughout meat. Drain cabbage that was soaked in water in Step 【1 】in strainer.

【3 Stir frying 2 minutes】

Heat sesame oil in frying pan over low heat and stir-fry toban djan. Once toban djan is coated with oil, add garlic and ginger and fry for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.

【4 Stir-frying 4 minutes】

Turn heat to medium and add pork, spread out, and stir-fry for about 3 minutes until meat is cooked through. Add white part of green onions and stir-fry for another minute.

【5  Stir-frying 6 minutes】

Move meat to one side of frying pan, add cabbage, and stir-fry over high heat for about 3 minutes. Add remaining green onions and special seasoning, coating everything evenly. Stir-fry for another 2 to 3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.

Plate the stir-fry from step 【5】 onto a serving dish.
