Miso marinated chicken

[Ingredients]

・ Chicken thigh
・ Special miso marinade sauce
・ Bok choy
・ Sesame oil
※ Oil
※ Salt

[Tips]
👉Enzymes contained in miso make the chicken tender and moist.
👉Please make sure the chicken is thoroughly cooked before consuming. There is a risk of food poisoning if you eat undercooked chicken.

【1 Preparation 3 minutes】

Boil plenty of water in a pot. Wash bok choy thoroughly with water, removing dirt from base and between leaves. Thinly slice off the root, make a cross-shaped cut, and divide it into 4 pieces.

【2 Boiling 2 minutes】

Boil water in pot and add teaspoon of salt. Put base of bok choy into boiling water, boil for about 30 seconds. Then, immerse rest of bok choy into water, boil for additional 20-30 seconds until tender, then drain in strainer.

【3 Preparation 3 minutes】

【4 Grilling 12 minutes】

Pour about 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-heated frying pan. Place chicken skin-side down in frying pan, spreading oil around with chicken, then heat over low heat for about 5 minutes. Being careful not to burn the chicken, then turn over, cover, and steam cook for about 4-5 minutes.

👉 Be cautious to avoid burning.
👉 Adjust cooking time based on thickness of chicken to prevent it from becoming undercooked.

【5 Plating 3 minutes】

While cooking chicken, squeeze out excess water from boiled bok choy prepared in step【2】. Place on plate, drizzle sesame oil on top, and sprinkle a pinch of salt.

【6 Plating 2 minutes】

Arrange chicken prepared in step 【4】 on top of bok choy from step 【5】.
